Studying in Poland is already affordable, and scholarships can lower the cost further — from partial tuition waivers to fully funded government programmes.

NAWA government scholarships

NAWA (the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange) runs several programmes that can cover full tuition plus a living stipend. The Banach programme supports master’s study; POLONISTA supports students and doctoral candidates with monthly stipends (around PLN 2,000 for students, PLN 3,300 for doctoral candidates).

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters

These prestigious EU-funded master’s programmes cannot charge tuition to scholarship holders and provide a monthly allowance (around €1,400) toward travel, visa, setup and living costs.

University tuition waivers

Many universities offer merit-based tuition reductions of roughly 30–100%, often awarded automatically to strong applicants. Check each university’s scholarship page when you apply.
