Application steps

   Shortlist universities & programmes

   Choose English-taught programmes that match your background and budget.

   Prepare documents

   Academic transcripts, secondary/degree certificates, passport, proof of English, a personal statement and sometimes references.

   Apply directly

   Submit through each university’s admissions portal; pay any application fee.

4. 4

   Receive an offer

   On acceptance you get an admission letter — your basis for the visa and tuition payment.

English language requirements

IELTS/TOEFL is not always mandatory, but proof of English is needed. As a guide, undergraduate programmes often expect IELTS 5.5 and postgraduate 6.0–6.5. Common alternatives include TOEFL iBT (≈79+), Cambridge (FCE/CAE/CPE), PTE Academic (≈59+) and Duolingo (≈105+). Many universities — especially private ones — also accept an internal English test.

Intakes & timing

• Main (autumn) intake: applications typically open March–August; classes begin in October.
• Spring intake (where offered): applications around November–February.
• Start early — document recognition, English certification and the visa all take time for non-EU applicants.
